Many prayers for Texas!

Many prayers are going out for Texans involved in the flooding and aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.  One of the most amazing live press releases I watched today . . . the police chief of Houston, emotionally reporting on the recovery mission and death of a well-loved fellow officer who got caught in the flooding on his way to report to work.  What a tragedy to have to report, but at the same time, he gave the news with great hope, right there on live tv (thank you Jesus for live tv during these times).  The officer was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Savior, which is of great comfort to his wife and all those who knew him.   The police chief asked this man's now-widow, (my paraphrase) "if this was his day to go, wouldn't he have wanted to go while doing service to his community instead of any other way?", and her answer was "yes."  We can have comfort in the knowledge that those who are believers in Jesus as their only Savior, will be in immediate Paradise.  As sad as we are to lose them from our presence here, we know they are now spending eternity with our Lord Jesus and we can do the same!  Praise the Lord!  Don't wait until it's too late.

Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. ~2 Cor. 5:8

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  ~Romans 6:23

Booth move!

Another move!  Stop in at Crazy Frank's Indoor Flea Market (full of vintage and antique treasures) and visit my newly moved and re-designed booth!  Still #113, I've moved to the large room on the right (as you walk in, turn right, enter the large room, go straight ahead until you come to the back wall, turn right, I'm just a little ways on your left).  The new move allows me to be a little more creative with my booth design and I'm loving it so far!

Coming soon:  more mason jars (coming this week), more vintage-inspired bags (coming next month), and more!  Check it out, lots of vintage, antique, and vintage-inspired treasures for your home!  Don't forget to pick up a new dishcloth (vintage-inspired colors to choose from)!

My flea market spot in Crazy Frank's Indoor Flea Market was stocked last week.  Newly added: books, Frankoma Easter Plate!, heart washcloths and . . .

. . . new dishcloths!  I've decided to focus on vintage colors in my dishcloths to coordinate with your vintage-decorated kitchen, or simply to give you a smile when you see the vintage colors (and they trigger a memory of that old "harvest gold" or "avocado green" refrigerator you had when you were a kid)!  The dishcloths are in vintage-inspired colors from the "Vintage 50s", "Retro 60s" or "Retro 70s".  Also still available are dish towels: Vintage-inspired "Pig Meal" feed sack and "Chicken's Beware" . . . and much more!

Chicken, Stuffing and Cranberry Dish
(makes approx. enough for 3-4 people, double if necessary)

Have 10 minutes to make a quick, but hearty and warm lunch (or light supper)?  Try this, it will honestly take you only 10 minutes, start to finish!  Thank you, Michele Wilder for the recipe!

1 box Stove Top Stuffing (lower sodium chicken)
1 can (12 oz) 100% Natural Chicken
1/4 cup dried Cranberries
1 2/3 cup Water
4 T Margarine

1 bag Frozen, Steam-In-Bag Veggies

In a saucepan, put 1 2/3 cup water and 4 T margarine (or butter), the partially drained chicken and cranberries.  Bring to a boil, remove from heat, fold in Stove Top Stuffing, cover with lid and let sit for 5 min.  Throw a bag of Steam-In-Bag veggies into the microwave according to directions on the bag.  By the time the veggies are done, the stuffing dish will be ready too!

Add fresh fruit and glasses of milk to the table and you have a well-balanced meal!

Booth #113 at the Crazy Franks Indoor Flea Market in Mineral Point was restocked yesterday!
Take a look!

New dishcloths (including heart shapes!) and new hats (new design with a cute braided look going down the side of a slouchy!).  New Valentine's Day items, window catchers and decorated vintage cookie cutter and tart pans, perfect for gift giving!  There's even a vintage Charlie Brown Valentine's book!

Many mason jars for your vintage, farmhouse, rustic chick and more decorating styles!  I've added mason jar flower frog lids (galvanized) that make flower arranging easy!

Special Note:  I'll be moving the booth before the end of the month!!!  The new location is brighter and in the first room (instead of taking the left hallway to enter the side room, go straight and it'll be the 3rd or 4th booth on the left).  Look for my "Booth #113" and "Welcome to my Vintage Store" signs.
