Remember,  we don't need someTHING, we need someONE . . . That Someone is Jesus.

Christmas Countdown!

Christmas is only a week away, check out Crazy Frank's Indoor Flea Market (Mineral Point, WI) for a unique gift for everyone on your list!  I just restocked Booth #113 (in the big room to the right) yesterday!

Look for Christmas books, ornaments, little trees, bottle brush trees, candles, dishcloths & towels, Mason jar soap dispensers (new non-rusting lids), signs (man cave too!), tiny waxed linen baskets (wonderful gifts, perfect to hold jewelry), modern desk organizers, vintage-look bags, Christmas centerpieces, baskets, and more!

Life is Never Hopeless

If we have Jesus as our Savior, and God's Word to turn to, we have hope!

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me (following Me as My disciple) for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.  For My yoke is easy (to bear) and My burden is light.  ~Matthew 11:28-30

When life seems hopeless, mundane, or overwhelming, instead of turning to what is temporary (food, shopping, drinking, videos, games, . . .), turn to the One who's love for you is so great He sent His son to die for you.  God is always there, any time of the day or night and anywhere to hear your prayer.  Open the Bible, His letter to us; in it you will find hope and peace.  Turn to the family of believers, be there for each other.  Sometimes just turning away from our own troubles to be a help to someone else, gives us the different perspective we need.  Be available to help, listen, or do whatever is needed.  Smile, say hello, be ready, you never know when you might be the help someone is desperately looking for today.

If you're in the area, stop in Crazy Franks Indoor Flea Market in Mineral Point, WI for their annual fall outdoor flea market this weekend -- Sept. 22-23.  Something for everyone!  Almost 200 indoor and outdoor vendors selling antiques, vintage, nostalgia, memorabilia, collections, sports, signs, pottery, baskets, industrial, . . .
